Position Title: Wireless Telecommunications Field Technician

Client Overview:

Our client, a leading provider of telecommunications solutions, is seeking dedicated Telecommunications Field Technicians to support their operations across the state of Wisconsin, with a primary focus on Madison, Fox Valley, and Milwaukee regions. As part of their team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of communication networks for their customers.

Job Description:

As a Telecommunications Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various telecommunications systems, including Cellular, DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), and cabling infrastructure. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, teamwork, and the ability to work independently once trained. Some overnight stays may be necessary to accommodate project requirements, with expenses covered by the client. While having your own truck is preferred, it's not mandatory, but basic tools are required for the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including Cellular and DAS systems.

Perform site surveys to assess network requirements and identify potential issues.

Pull, terminate, and test cabling infrastructure according to industry standards.

Troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.

Adhere to safety protocols and client-specific guidelines.

Requirements:

Previous experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably with knowledge of Cellular, DAS, and cabling systems.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel within the state of Wisconsin, with occasional overnight stays required (expenses covered by the client).

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (trucks preferred but not mandatory).

Basic tools required for the job.
