Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye conditions, fitting contact lenses, and prescribing eyeglasses. The Optometrist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating with patients regarding their eye health.

Qualifications

Clinical expertise in optometry

Ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions

Experience in fitting contact lenses and prescribing eyeglasses

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution

Licenses and certifications required by the state of Virginia

Experience with EHR systems preferred

Experience in pediatric optometry preferred
