Resicom, a leading provider of 24/7 commercial maintenance services for retailers across the US and Canada, is seeking an experienced Painter/Handyman for the role of Regional Maintenance Technician. This position involves traveling 25-50% of the time to cover a designated geographic area.

Painting and Handyman Requirements:

Join Resicom as an RMS (Regional Maintenance Technician + Painter) and play a crucial role in delivering bundled services to our clients. This cornerstone position is essential for client optimization and opens doors to advancement opportunities, such as becoming a Traveling Maintenance Supervisor (TMS) or Traveling Project Manager. We are seeking RMS's who possess a diverse skill set and can:

Perform painting tasks including drywall repair, patching, mudding, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Handle basic handyman repairs such as cabinet adjustments, door repairs, ceiling tile replacements, and more.

Conduct assessments and checklists to identify and address repair needs.

Demonstrate flexibility, motivation, and excellent customer service skills.

Utilize a work order app to receive and document job information accurately.

Maintain regular and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

General Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a painter.

Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and operating work vans.

Flexibility in availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.

Willingness to learn basic electrical and handyman repairs.

Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrate professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Proficiency in using smartphones and/or tablets.

Salary for the Regional Maintenance Technician + Painter position at Resicom: $50,000-$60,000 based on experience. This position services the Boston, MA area, Connecticut, and NY (specifically Rochester, Albany, and Syracuse, NY).
