Position Information

SEARCH has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Finance Manager to join our Accounting team. This position is based out of our Orlando office or may be remote. This role will collaborate with departments across the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including financial statements (balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows - monthly, quarterly and annual), budgets, forecasts (accrual and cash-basis) and value-added benchmarking and ad hoc analysis to the executive management team

Actively and efficiently manage closing, receipts, expenditures, reimbursements, and payroll administration

Develop, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures for timely, accurate and efficient financial reporting

Evaluate, enhance, and maintain financial controls and tax return procedures

Work with the Corporate Controller (who oversees all Project Accounting) to report project financial information, including proposals, budgets, and ongoing forecasts) and maintain timely and accurate time and expense reporting

Work with the Corporate Controller to efficiently develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract compliance and reporting

Oversee the production of the 401k plan reporting requirements

Prepare, maintain and report on a weekly basis regarding cash flow forecasts and projections

Monitor and maintain internal controls necessary to protect assets

Actively manage external auditors for timely completion of necessary audits

Prepare state project audit packages

Report on and maintain Fixed Assets schedules and bank reconciliations

Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field

8 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance role.

Significant experience with utilization and understanding of Costpoint.

Experience training and supporting accounting staff and data management in Microsoft Excel or comparable analysis/reporting tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines while remaining detail oriented, organized, and able to work well on multiple tasks

Prior external audit experience.

Qualifications Preferred:

Understanding of the Cultural Resource Management (CRM) industry (firms, clients, contracts, new research, and projects) at the regionwide, nationwide, and worldwide level
