Life Sciences Patent Prosecution Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Intellectual Property Associate to join our client. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the intellectual property initiatives and providing legal counsel on various IP matters.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis on intellectual property laws, regulations, and precedents.

Assist in drafting and filing patent applications, trademarks, and copyrights.

Provide legal advice and guidance on IP-related issues to internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and protect intellectual property assets.

Assist in intellectual property litigation and enforcement efforts as needed.

Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and industry trends.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Ph.D. or other advanced degree in biological sciences

3+ years of experience practicing intellectual property law, preferably in a law firm.

Strong knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright law.

Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
