Senior Project Engineer

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER to work in the Columbus, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Hybrid position: in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday;remaining 2 days are remote.

Travel: occasional travel (5%) to generation facilities with some overnight stays.

Job Summary: The Senior Project Engineer will manage engineering activities of multiple complex projects. Project types include solar and wind electric generating facilities, environmental retrofit to existing coal power plants and building new Combustion Turbine (CT). The prospective engineer will be the Engineering Lead for assigned projects and will be responsible for managing all aspects of engineering activities.

Accountabilities:

Coordinate the overall engineering activities between Company, Developer, Architect Engineer (A/E), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for Generation capital projects.

Ensure production of engineering deliverables is completed on schedule.

Ensure the design meets stakeholder expectations.

Ensure technical issues and constraints are resolved in a timely manner.

Provide engineering progress updates to the project team and stakeholders.

Lead complex engineering discussions that require the input and efforts of a wide array of entities both internal and external to Company.

Identify, clarify, and resolve complex technical problems that require multi-disciplined analytical techniques. Help to drive to conclusion where differences of opinion are likely to exist.

Present complex technical subjects, clearly, concisely, and persuasively before senior management.

Build teams and networks that extend through Company and other companies.

Qualifications:

Bachelorâ s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET with 6 or more years of related experience.

Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. State or Puerto Rico is encouraged and preferred.
