Cardiovascular Perfusionist

Job Description

A private perfusion practice based in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a full-time perfusionist to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a motivated individual with great attention to detail with excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include perfusion services during cardiac and cardiovascular surgery, intra-aortic balloon pump/ Impella, auto-transfusion/ platelet gel, and other patient care to include perioperative pacemaker support services and point of care testing.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Perfusion. Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) preferred. Maintenance of certification through ABCP is required. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required.
