Paralegal - Trusts & Estates

$62,500 - $69,000 yearlyResponsibilities:

Understand estate planning, trust administration and probate law and procedure

Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, petitions for probate, notices, and affidavits under the supervision of a lawyer

Manage case load, including independently tracking of all deadlines and progress of all matters

Help lawyers prepare for hearings and client meetings by organizing and summarizing documents and information provided by clients, assisting with client meetings, following up with clients and others to obtain additional information

Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessibleQualifications:

Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar

Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills

Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired

3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting

Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferredAbout Company
