Forklift Operator Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Forklift /Warehouse worker- 2nd shift

2pm to 10pm 18.00 to 19.00 an hour

List of responsibilities and task requirements:

- ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly

- ability to grasp and manipulate heavy hand tools (pneumatic banding devices, hammer…)

- ability to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time throughout working hours

- ability to climb (stairwells, ladders, into forklifts)

- ability to read and write

- good mathematical aptitude with emphasis on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

- data entry into computer

- ability to use and read a tape rule is preferred

- ability to work in a team with other employees

Safety considerations (for trained learned tasks):

- required use of sharp, heavy hand tools to perform necessary handling and packaging requirements- operation of forklift to handle/transport/place up to 10,000lb load

- operation of overhead pendent controlled crane to handle/transport/place up to 40,000#

Standard PPE of hard hats, protectivd gloves and steel toe shoes are required for employment. We provide the hard hats and gloves.Company Description
