Job Description Summary:The Divisional Accounting Manager will act as point of contact with clients regarding all financial inquiries.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

Accounting subject matter expert with the ability to provide analysis, support and guidance on high level financial transactions to ensure proper adherence to regulatory requirements.

Ownership of revenue recognition including review of revenue entries, comparison to billing, review over/under billing, over/under recognition, perform RCA with stakeholders, resolve issues with Operations/ERP and implement permanent fixes with ERP Administrator.

Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

Interact with Corporate Accounting to drive a timely and accurate close process, including review of monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.

Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

Partner with FP&A team in developing financial reports to support the needs of the Operations and Leadership teams.

Work with Financial Business Manager to improve efficiencies in the interactions between project managers and accounting team.

Deliver accounting support for approval of all contract changes including setup, terminations, extensions, budgets adjustments, taxes.

Provide leadership and motivation to a high-achieving accounting team.

Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

Four-year business or accounting degree, or equivalent with advanced degree or CPA preferred.

2-3 years of supervisory skills preferred.

Knowledge of and experience with on-line, integrated accounting systems.

Strong analytical, interpersonal and project management skills.

Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.

Knowledge of PC-based spreadsheet applications.

Must be well organized, with the ability to timely meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.

Compensation Range:

$103,417.60 - $155,126.40
