Minimum Requirements:

Has typically acquired 8 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET.

OR

6 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET, Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or similar credentials are required for this position.

ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

Job Summary:

Looking for a Principal Project Engineer who will be responsible for executing complex engineering tasks and projects, applying engineering expertise to achieve assigned objectives safely, effectively, efficiently, and economically.

In a Project Engineer role, the candidate will manage the engineering activities of multiple complex projects.

Project types include solar and wind electric generating facilities, environmental retrofit to existing coal power plants, and building a new Combustion Turbine (CT).

3rd party Engineering firms and OEM will be responsible for the design.

The prospective engineer will be the Client Engineering Lead for assigned projects and will be responsible to manage all aspects of engineering activities. The Engineer will coordinate with different Engineering disciplines within the Client to ensure proper engineering oversight.
