Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in supporting our employees' travel needs while ensuring compliance with all federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

Plan and make travel arrangements for employees in accordance with Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) guidelines.

Prepare and process travel authorizations and vouchers, including booking transportation, hotels, car rentals, conferences, and more, using the travel database or working directly with the travel office.

Secure necessary travel documents, including passports and visas

Electronically retrieve airline tickets and documents.

Compile and distribute comprehensive travel packets for each trip, including travel authorization, flight information, rental car details, hotel confirmation, tax-exempt forms, and additional relevant information.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of travel authorizations, including cost estimates, routing, and obtaining required signatures before processing for approval.

Plan and manage foreign travel according to FTR guidelines and internal protocols.

Analyze current travel policies and practices, identify inconsistencies with policies, and recommend practical solutions.

Translate complex travel regulations, policies, and procedures into clear and concise communication for travelers.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in any field.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Travel Specialist in a Federal Agency, preferably ARPA-H.

Strong understanding of Government Travel Policies and Regulations (e.g., FTR, ARPA-H travel policies).

Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing both manual and electronic travel documents (authorizations, vouchers), processing passport/visa applications, and utilizing GSA City Pair airfare rates.

Excellent organization and prioritization skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in crafting reports and presentations.

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients at all levels.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.

U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working within ARPA-H, NIH, or HHS.

Experience in an ARPA-H environment or a similar cutting-edge R&D environment is a plus.
