Job Description

GCyber is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Requirements Evaluation & Design (RED) Team Lead to drive the assessment, planning, and implementation of IT solutions within a DoD IT environment. This strategic role requires technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills to lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.

As a Requirements Evaluation & Design (RED) Team Lead, you will:

Lead the RED team in evaluating IT requirements, designing solutions, and managing the execution of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and DoD standards.

Conduct thorough assessments of current IT systems and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement, and developing comprehensive plans for technology enhancements.

Prepare detailed cost estimate reports and project proposals, presenting recommendations to senior management and clients for decision-making.

Utilize advanced project management skills to oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Foster a collaborative environment, mentoring and guiding team members in best practices, solution design, and project execution.

Serve as a key liaison between the IT department, project stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives and outcomes.

Employ proficient use of relevant software tools, including MS Office, to manage projects, create documentation, and report on project status.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Active Secret Clearance required.

BS in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred, to provide a strong foundation in IT and project management.

7+ years of experience as a Lead Project Manager, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex IT projects in a DoD IT environment.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Demonstrated expertise in preparing detailed cost estimates, project proposals, and managing project execution.

Exceptional managerial, leadership, and communication skills, capable of leading diverse teams and effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in relevant software tools, including MS Office, for project management, documentation, and reporting.
