Pow Pow, is an award winning, all plant-based Asian restaurant, known for our house-made proteins and fun but well-executed dishes. Two locations at 1250 Eye street NW as well as 1253 H street NE.

Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, hard-working and a self motivator.

Responsibilities

· Follow recipes and prepare dishes

· Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking

· Weigh and measure ingredients

· Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables

· Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces

· Label stock and inventory all ingredients

· Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas

Qualifications

· Ability to communicate and listen to team members

· Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal

· A strong work ethic and sense of urgency

· Experience in high volume Food Prep IS REQUIRED.
