Overview:

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning of all dishware, silverware, glassware, pots, pans and other cooking equipment used in restaurants and kitchens to maintain a clean and professional operation at all times. Excellent teamwork skills are essential to the success of this position. A high degree of interaction and thorough verbal communication with individuals at all levels internally is a must.

Job Requirements:

· Must be able to lift and carry fifty (50) pounds, also twist, bend, push, pull, turn and reach

· Must be able to stand for full shift, walk up and down stairs, and walk long distances during the shift

· Must be able to work in a kitchen environment that often ranges in extreme temperature (hot and cold), can be smoky with loud noises from equipment and other personnel

· Must be skilled in the use and storage of different chemicals used throughout the culinary facility

· Must utilize excellent guest service skills to enhance the SAP experience and meet the needs of guests with a positive and upbeat attitude

· Must be well-organized and have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Must satisfactorily fulfill all department training requirements

Job Duties:

· Cleaning and maintenance of china, glass, silver, kitchen equipment and utensils, food delivery, storage and preparation areas. This will include equipment that may have sharp cutting edges and high temperatures.

· Perform necessary clean up and sanitation maintenance activities in food and beverage preparation and storage facilities including equipment, floors, counters and shelves

· Occasionally help with receiving, storing and/or distributing of food and beverage products

· Clean food production, holding and serving equipment.

· Inform Lead 1 – Combination Supervisor of items needed to be ordered in order to perform their duties

· Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs

· Maintains appropriate health and safety standards according to County codes, guidelines, and SAP standards

· Supports other tasks as needed by F&B management
