Client: Utility Client

Role: Integration Solution Architect

Job Type: Contract (12 month)

Location: Downtown Toronto (2 days Hybrid)

Your New Company

Our client, a very well-known Utility company looking to hire Integration Solution Architect.

Your New Role:

You will provide technical and analytical support, performs trouble shooting functions, implements processes, systems or

projects that contribute to the efficient and effective technical delivery in the operational areas of Information Technology.

You will be working similarly to a Solution Architect capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the IT Systems

• Installs, configures, maintains, enhances Information Technology systems software and hardware in accordance with corporate and security standards, for defined area of expertise

• Supports Information Technology System testing, deployment and upgrade activities

• Creates and maintains documentation to support IT Systems and Processes

• Designs IT solutions in the area of Systems, Systems Integration and Application Development

• Ensures solutions are compliant with IT standards

• Leads vendors, internal developers and system administrators and drive all technical activities pertaining to the projects

• Provides services and solutions to support project delivery.

• Proactively identifies problems and opportunities for improvement of project delivery, IT Services, systems or processes

• Works in partnership with IT Client Consultant, BA, business and vendors in determining technical options / solutions to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience in Information Technology (Demonstrated experience in management and improvement of IT service, technologies and process)

• Experience with integrating platforms such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/IBM Application Connect Enterprise (ACE). Ability to support existing integration as well as design of new interfaces to meet new business needs.

• Knowledge of application development and integration with IBM WebSphere Application Server or Oracle WebLogic Server.

• Knowledge and experience working with scripting languages such as Python, SQL, Shell Scripting, Batch Scripts.

• Knowledge and experience working with Windows and UNIX.

• Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

• Understanding of ACE Message Queues, RESTful APIs, and web services.

• Understanding of Oracle Field Service Cloud Design Principles and Configuration

Knowledge of how the platform can be customized and configured to meet various business needs is essential.

• Proficiency in developing customizations and extensions using Oracle Field Service Cloud APIs and Java tools.
