Hardware Electrical Engineer

Duties & Requirements:

Report to the Electrical Engineering Manager.

Ensure compliance with all relevant aspects of the companys QA system requirements in terms of ISO 9001:2015.

BTech Electrical, minimum qualification.

Hardware design experience essential.

Assist in compilation of the Operational and Maintenance manuals.

Draw electrical schematics in ePlan.

Create encoder and tacho interface schedules for equipment provided for by the Mechanical Engineering department.

Assist in creating equipment layout drawings.

Offer technical support to the Production department.

Provide assistance during factory testing.

Perform functional testing during factory testing.

Facilitate customer factory acceptance testing.

Provide component lists for sub-assemblies, loose components and spares.
