Inviting applications for the role of Manager / Sr Manager– RTR Platform Specialist (Vertex Taxation),

Responsibilities

• Co-responsible for ensuring the implementation of the tax platforms globally, following the CORE transition approach as an Individual Contributor (IC).

• Participates in deployment phase, by reviewing the solution documentation, such as user guides, training manuals and system specifications, prior to distribution to OpCo key-users & end-users, and ensures that the subject area is accurately represented

• Work with the tax platform Implementation Partners to gather, document and challenge specific local tax requirements following a zero-gap approach

• Thoroughly perform functional testing and support user acceptance testing of the solution and associated procedures to confirm that the primary business requirements are met

• Log issues and risks that surface during configuration, training or other team activities and follow-through on resolution of those issues

• Continuous improvement and keeping up-to-date of documentation (SOPs, process descriptions, sol ID materials, etc.)

• Support on on-boarding new team members in the functional area

• Experience with transactional taxes preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate / University master’s degree

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Relevant years’ experience in APAC taxation

• Experience being a user with any of the ERP such as:

o Vertex,

o Clear tax,

o Acumatica,

o Avalara

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Challenging approach

• Influencing skills

• Strong, professional communication skills, able to approach Senior Stakeholders using appropriate level of detail and terminology.

• Planning and organizing skills, ability to see the big picture.

• Stress resistant

• Proactive with a can-do-attitude

• A strong team player, proven team leadership potential

• Fast learner with ability to adapt to change quickly.

• Fluent English language required
