Job Description
- Cuts, trims, bones meat for display or as ordered by Customer. Makes other case items as needed
- Weighs / wraps / labels product packages for counter display; rotates product as needed
- Rotates product in meat cooler; ensures proper storage practices
- Assists customers with product questions
- Accepts inventory
- Cleans and sanitizes display cases; properly operates / maintains equipment
- Complies with federal/state/local food safety and sanitation standards
- Complies with store operating procedures
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience and / or training
- Food handler certification
Additional Notes
- Lift and carry moderately heavy loads (40 - 60 lbs)
- Frequently* stand, walk, bend, reach, pivot, push / pull with arms, grasp
- Frequently be exposed to extreme cold, and high-tech chemicals
