Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist for our Columbus Delivery Center is responsible for executing clear direction and focus through integrated HR strategies that will optimize the attraction and retention of talent, while striving to be an Employer of Choice.

What your day to day will look like

Drives Recruitment Efforts and Conducts Onboarding. Coordinates advertisement for all open positions at the Delivery Centers, participates in on-site and off-site recruiting events, participates in screening, scheduling, and interviewing process. Ensures appropriate onboarding occurs.

Provides HR Expertise. Serves as an HR resource to team members regarding HR policies, practices, and initiatives, including benefits, compensation, employment, workers’ compensation, leaves of absences, etc. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Facilitates Team Member Engagement. Plans team member engagement activities and helps promote a positive work environment.

Conducts Associate Relations Investigations. Leads the investigations for team member associate relations related issues. with little direction from HR Manager.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

3-5 years of experience as a HR Generalist Distribution, Delivery or Manufacturing experience preferred

record of servant leadership; serving others and putting team goals first

approach; identifies and solves problems

flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities

managing change in large and complex environments

to break down complex ideas and communicate them in simple and easy to understand ways
