A marine/heavy-civil construction company currently seeking a Foreman/Field Superintendent with 10+ years of experience with pile driving, rigging, cofferdams, concrete, dredging, piers, bridges, timber construction, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:

Plan, direct and supervise workers engaged in marine construction. Activities include planning, organizing, directing and controlling methods of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, work schedule and reviewing documentations.

Coordinate assigned work with in-house trades, subcontractors and company departments.

Conduct project safety meetings and enforce compliance with project safety program requirements for all in-house trades and subcontractors.

Supervise, mentor and coach foremen in your assigned work area as it relates to company policies, procedures, and technical work requirements.

Provide liaison between field engineering, estimating, and trade to ensure compliance of construction with plans and specifications and that work is carried out to the highest standard.

Inspects work areas to determine type of work required, materials and equipment to be used at the jobsite.

Coordinate and execute mobilization efforts and jobsite setup.

Resolve construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) and constructability challenges as required.

Ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule are maintained throughout assigned projects.

Requirements: * 10+ years of experience as a Field Superintendent in the marine/heavy-civil construction industry.

Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Software

Valid Driver License

Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.

Demonstrates effective leadership skills.

Effective communication skills both written and verbal.

NCCCO Crane Operator Certification a plus.Job Type: Full-time
