Executive Assistant to the President

Salary: $55,000 to $80,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience
Terrific Executive Assistant to the President ("Assistant") position with an international relations and policy nonprofit in the Washington, D.C. area. The Executive Assistant to the President is an integral role providing administrative support to the organization's Executive Office, consisting of the President, COO, and Chief of Staff. The Assistant will provide support to the Executive Office through calendar management, travel planning/logistics, providing meeting materials, and managing other administrative duties. This role will also work closely with the Chief of Staff on tasks related to Board engagement and meeting logistics. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage competing deadlines and priorities. Qualified candidates should have approximately 5+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree is required. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. area and operates on a hybrid schedule, based on business needs. The salary range for the Assistant position is $55,000 to $80,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a member of the Executive Office, ensuring streamlined operations and time management
Provide calendar management, meeting materials, travel logistics, and other administrative support for the Executive Office
Work closely with the President, COO, and Chief of Staff on confidential, complex matters
Create executive-level communications and correspondence
Manage budgets, expenses, and reimbursements for the office
Maintain and update office records and databases
Collaborate and assist the Chief of Staff on Board engagement and meeting logistics
Qualifications:
Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree required
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated track record of working with executive level staff
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
Experience using Microsoft Office and tech savvy
Willingness to travel, as needed
