LHH is partnering with their client in Ramsey, NJ area for the hiring of a talented Purchasing and Sales Coordinator. If you have at least a year or two working in purchasing or sales in the physical product realm and strong experience in client communications and organizing the purchase order process, I would love to chat!
Responsibilities:
Inputting purchasing and pricing data into Excel and SAP - continuous work in data and reporting.
Special orders and purchasing : getting items from vendors who may be looking for a new product so they look to find them and get a quote or getting a commonly stocked item
Acquiring stock items that they continually carry and editing inventory and stock status
Updating pricing quarterly in their SAP system
Talking to vendors and professional client/customer support
Administrative support and data input and reporting/updating lists and POs, RFPs, and RFQs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree ideal but not required
Strong experience in Excel (and SAP preferred) - data entry, spreadsheet and reports work, inventory database updated
Experience working in a purchasing or procurement realm at least a YEAR
Superior oral and written communication skills, organization, and detail-orientation
Strong work ethic, taking initiative, team player, and ability to work independently
