Job Overview:

Lemcke Landscape is looking for supervisors to lead one of our landscape maintenance teams. Primary tasks include managing and working with crew members to complete landscape maintenance projects. This includes overseeing the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a residence or property, consisting of mulching, pulling weeds, pruning, general cleanup, along with other responsibilities. Please Note: ALL SUPERVISORS ARE SUBJECT TO A 30 DAY TRAINING PERIOD.

Primary Responsibilities:

Communicate with Division Director and Landscape Designers(as needed) each day to review project details.

Manage a 1-2 person crew and assign tasks to complete projects.

Communicate with homeowners on the job to accommodate their needs.

Monitor performance of crew members.

Ensure safety of crew by following guidelines and protocols.

Train new crew members on how to properly landscape & maintain properties.

Fill out work ticket each day of the tasks that were completed.

Load & unload equipment, tools and materials needed to complete daily tasks.

Safely drive company vehicle to and from the jobsite.

Pick up materials at local landscape supply shops to complete jobs.

Plant seasonal annuals at various properties.

Apply fertilizer to landscape to enhance growth.

Sweep walkways of debris and clean up property.

Rake, mulch, edge and prune the grounds as needed.

Prune large shrubs and small tree limbs.

Pull weeds & maintain landscape beds.

Water plants and grass as needed.

Clean up leaves and sticks.

Operate small machinery at the shop and on jobsite.

Final walkthroughs to ensure everything is cleaned up and all of our tools have been retrieved.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Motivated team player with a positive attitude.

Perform heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions.

Have reliable transportation and be dependable.

Be authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience in the landscape industry - 2 + years required.

Valid Driver’s License required and insurable with our company policy.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Compensation:

Full time. ($21 - $26 an hour based on experience and skills).

401K with 3% company match once first season is completed and you begin your second season.

5 paid holidays.

40 hours of PTO after first season and return to work for second season.

Company uniform provided.

Attendance Bonus: Monthly.

Schedule:

Full time 40 hours a week.

Monday to Friday.

7:45am-4:45pm.

Work Saturdays only in peak season in Spring and Fall.
