Tidwell Group is seeking an experienced Audit Associate to join our Columbus, OH team!

Essential Functions:

· Complete assigned projects efficiently and make decisions regarding routine work with minimal oversight by Senior Audit Associates

· Recognize potential problems in an engagement and propose solutions in a timely manner

· Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, accurately and efficiently while meeting deadlines

· Accept increasing responsibility for client engagements

Team Relationship Expectations:

· Demonstrate integrity, ethical decision-making and behaviors that build trust across teams and with clients

· Foster an environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, inclusion and challenges traditional approaches.

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting

· CPA or CPA eligible is a plus

· 1 to 3 years of progressive public accounting experience

· Strong accounting and analytical skills

· Proficiency with report writing tools and spreadsheets

· Attention to detail

· Excellent oral & written communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and budget constraints

· Industry experience in Real-estate, Affordable Housing or Construction is a plus
