JOB DESCRIPTION

In the role of Marketing Coordinator, your core responsibilities will be focused on managing the firm's online content. The role's responsibilities include curating and posting engaging material on our websites, blogs, and social media channels. The successful candidate will also be responsible for executing our social media strategy, maintaining our brand presence, and fostering engagement. Routinely analyzing visitor analytics and providing insights to refine our online efforts are also included in the daily responsibilities. Additionally, you'll collaborate with our domestic and international offices, ensuring the upkeep of practice group pages, bios, publications, blogs, and other outward-facing content. In essence, you'll play a vital role in shaping our firm's online image and supporting the firm's digital presence.

The ideal candidate has law firm experience, is detail oriented, proactive, and has excellent communication and follow-up skills. Proficiency in platforms such as Sitecore or similar content management system, WordPress, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google Analytics is essential.

The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is essential, as is the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial (spelling, grammar usage, writing skills, etc.). Working knowledge of legal terms and concepts are a plus.

The Coordinator will report to the Marketing Technology Senior Manager in Marketing & Business Development Department and be located in Atlanta, Charlotte, or Washington, D.C.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Assists in managing, curating, posting content on the firm website, blogs, social media platforms, and distributing content through the firm's email marketing platform.

Prepares reports, as needed, on visitor traffic to the firm website, blogs and social media channels to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Assists with the distribution of electronic and print communications.

Serves as one of the business development department liaisons to the IT department.

Maintains knowledge of firm news and events.

Assists with identifying and troubleshooting challenges that arise within the platforms, which may involve working with vendors.

Collaborates with marketing and communication teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all platforms.

Performs other marketing and business development related responsibilities and projects as necessary. SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Advanced-level proficiency in online research and internet resources.

Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts and practical applications.

Working knowledge with HTML, Sitecore, WordPress, Google Analytics, GA4 or other website analytics application a plus.

Working knowledge of SEO best practices.

Advanced knowledge of legal services.

Ability to effectively interact with lawyers at both the associate and partner level.

Proficient project management skills, adept at task prioritization and meeting deadlines.

Team-player mentality with excellent communication skills.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Commitment to providing superior customer service.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Advanced proficiency in English language usage, including punctuation, spelling, grammar and writing skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Marketing or Communication).

At least 4 years of professional services/law firm experience (required).

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
