Company client has an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading engineering and maintenance provider as an ANDT Inspection Engineer. Our client supports customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables, and food & beverage markets.

This is a permanent opportunity based on site in Aberdeen.

Core Tasks & Responsibilities

You will be given the responsibility of supporting the technical delivery of all NDT techniques in accordance with company procedures. Alongside this you will conduct site visits (onshore and offshore) to supervise, audit and support onsite ANDT/ NDT delivery.

You will be responsible for the effective planning and organisation of ANDT inspection activities, ensuring all ANDT work scopes are delivered efficiently, competently, within budget and in accordance with company procedures.

You will be expected to:

* Assist in the preparation of Inspection proposals, ANDT CTRs and CAPEX requirements

* Assist with the reviewing/ updating of ANDT Technical procedures

* Assist with ANDT technical qualification trials

Qualifications & Competencies:

To be successful as a ANDT Inspection Engineer you should have extensive experienced in the delivery of both conventional and advanced NDT methods covering in-service and newly fabricated products.

You will have a background in the organisation and supervision of inspection / NDT work scopes and knowledge of ISO 9712 Level 2 UT, PA & TOFD as a minimum.
