Details Management Ltd., a Bermuda-based professional services company, is currently recruiting for the following role Senior Finance Associate (Advisory Services) to join its finance consulting team in support of a range of Bermuda domiciled clients. This role requires candidates to be detail-oriented with the ability to manage time-sensitive deadlines.

General Duties and Responsibilities (All Roles):

Support the preparation and/or review of monthly management accounts.

Assist with investment and/or (re)insurance accounting and account reconciliations.

Assist with the preparation of internal and external reporting, including Board reports and US/Canadian GAAP & IFRS financial statements.

Assist with the preparation of client regulatory returns (such as BMA’s BSCR, DABA, as well as Lloyds, FCA reporting) and monitoring of regulatory requirements.

Preparation of monthly management reporting for senior management and other required analysis.

Processing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.

Assist with the preparation of budget and forecast data

Supporting both client internal and external audit requirements.

Supporting the development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures.

Provide technical accounting support and analysis within the (re)insurance and investment industries.

Ad hoc projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Must possess a professional finance designation (i.e., CPA, ACA, CFA, CISA) or equivalent.

Possess knowledge of and experience with the preparation of BMA regulatory reporting.

Strong knowledge of and previous experience using Microsoft’s Office Suite of Products, especially Excel.

Detailed knowledge and experience applying US GAAP and IFRS for insurance and/or investment accounting.

Proven financial, analytical, and organizational skills.

An understanding of internal control and compliance procedures.

Ability and willingness to work extended working hours and weekends, as needed.

Role-Specific Requirements:

A minimum of 2 to 5 years post-qualification experience, preferably gained in an insurance/reinsurance or investment management-related environment.
