KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Electronics Engineer, Junior, to join our team. This position will require at least 63% onsite work to be done in St. Inigoes, MD.

This position applies advanced engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, test or evaluate digital equipment, hardware, Radio Frequency (RF) system concepts, or software development tasking.

Primary Duties:

Applies system engineering experience in, but not limited to, system design and implementation, system integration, and system architecture design to perform engineering design and feasibility evaluation; component and system design engineering; or installation, testing, and evaluation of military IFF equipment, systems, and subsystems, as well as advanced technologies.

Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analysis, reports, change proposals, and other engineering documentation.

Work is predominantly performed under the guidance and supervision of journeyman and senior engineers. Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to lead the execution of complex tasks, when applicable.

Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills.

Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality.

Microsoft office proficiency.

Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Ability to work independently

Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines

Detail oriented

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues

Ability to adapt to evolving technology Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline

In lieu of a bachelor's degree a substitution may be allowed for degree and years of applicable experience. Clearance:

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
