Job Description

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team to provide evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches) to children, teens, and young adults. There is also an opportunity to provide assessment/evaluation services. You will be working directly under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist trained to provide therapy and testing/assessment services. We will work with you to develop a flexible schedule that best meets your needs, as well as to develop and market a caseload that best reflects your interests and strengths as a clinician.

Job Description:

You will play a crucial role in helping children, teens, and young adults overcome mental health challenges and build resilience. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide individual and group therapy services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Participating in assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' therapeutic needs.

Designing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

Providing evidence-based therapy to children, teenagers, and young adults dealing with a range of emotional and behavioral issues.

Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment.

Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate and confidential records.

Staying current with the latest developments in psychological research and best practices.Qualifications:

A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

Completion of an APA-accredited internship.

Experience working with children, teenagers, and young adults in a clinical setting.

Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques for this age group.

A pending or approved registration as a Psychology Associate in Maryland.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Dedication to providing high-quality, client-centered care.

Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
