While the Bangalore office provides a range of services, including risk management, corporate governance, tax, assurance, family office services, out of the Gurgaon office, we render highly specialized back office alternative investment services for global hedge funds and related fund types.

Kaufman Rossin is seeking a Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in India. This important role includes managing the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting, audits, company secretarial matters.

How You'll Contribute:

Owner of the financial accounting & reporting process for Kaufman Rossin India

Owner for the completeness and correctness of the monthly Reporting such as Trial balance, Infusion, Profitability, Balance sheet reviews (India), and Infrastructure costs (Rent & capital infrastructure/CAPEX)

Assisting in period closing activities (monthly & year-end). Maintaining meticulous records and adhering to all accounting standards and regulations

Overseeing cash flow operations, optimizing cash flow strategies, and ensuring timely payments and collections

Supporting internal and external audit activities by providing requested documentation and addressing audit findings on time

Experience in Compliance with GST matters.

Assisting in the Company secretarial matters such as board minutes and drafts

Assisting in identifying areas for automation and process improvement to enhance accuracy and productivity thereby ensuring efficient financial processes and data integrity.

Partnering with leadership to analyze financial data, prepare budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making.

Overseeing Administration, Infrastructure, and IT, and partnering with the CEO in business development, and client administration so that sufficient investment capital/ working capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets.

Providing mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment

Positively always represent the company through a success-oriented and professional demeanor

Positively mentoring the team and encouraging them to perform to full potential.

What Skills You'll Bring:

10 or more years of experience in controllership roles in a leadership capacity

Previous working experience as a Financial Controller in well-established startup organizations for 5 years

Experience managing and implementing financial process improvement initiatives.

Ability to communicate the financial results to the board of directors, other stakeholders, and company employees.

A master's degree or professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA

Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics

Prior experience in the professional services industry is a must.

The Candidate should preferably be a CPA or Chartered Accountant or an MBA with senior management experience in a fast-growing professional services firm.
