Job Description

Job Title: Field Service Technician

Reports to: Service Director

Job Summary:

A field service technician performs testing and energizing of control systems supplied by VLS; bench repair of electrical and electronic equipment, as well as in-field service, training, and repair of existing systems. Field service technicians also provide customer support via phone, email, or in person, maintain and update record of customer service tickets, and help execute equipment designs for our Systems Integration groups.

Qualifications & Education:

Experience with lighting control system configuration and programming desirable

Experience with theatrical systems a plus

ETCP Electrician Certification preferred. Candidate must agree to obtain ETCP certification within 12 months of hiring.
