The Accounting Specialist must be personable and professional, and possess strong attention to detail and accuracy. This position deals with daily reconciliations, accounts payable entries, commissions tracking, audits, and various other accounting responsibilities. The Finance Department collaborates regularly with other departments. It is our mission to be helpful to and supportive of the company team as a whole.
Responsibilities
Superior problem solving, resolution, and analysis skills

Corporate credit card reconciliations
Accounts Payable: entries and payment management
Bank reconciliations
Manage data records for sales commissions
Sales Tax and Commercial Activity Tax returns
Trust account reconciliations
Remote bank deposits
ACA reporting
Unclaimed Funds reporting
Utilizing and staying up-to-date on multiple software platforms
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Three or more years of experience in accounting, such as bookkeeping and/or accounts payable
Working toward a four-year college degree in Finance or Accounting a plus
Proficiency with MS Excel
QuickBooks experience a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as SOPs, work instructions, and software manuals
Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
Ability and motivation to build and maintain strong intercompany relationships
