Job Title: Superintendent

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our client's team in Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of construction industry experience, with a strong background in managing construction projects in various sectors including healthcare, hospitality, aviation, data center, and federal. The candidate must have experience managing projects of greater than $50 million and be willing and capable of managing projects throughout the DC metropolitan area. This role is with a Top 20 national general contractor known for their career development programs and commitment to their employees.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues that arise.

Oversee all aspects of project buyout, vendor relations, materials ordering, and related responsibilities.

Mentor and train junior team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a similar field.

6-10 years of construction industry experience.

Experience managing projects in healthcare, hospitality, aviation, data center, and federal sectors.

Experience managing projects of greater than $50 million.

Willingness and capability to manage projects throughout the DC metropolitan area.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
