Job Description

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and executing visually engaging art, graphics, and multimedia content for Larry H. Miller Real Estate. In addition to graphic design, this role encompasses social media content creation and strategy, as well as photography. The Graphic Designer applies art, design, and copy layout skills to develop logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials to support Larry H. Miller Real Estate’s marketing efforts and overall strategy. This individual collaborates closely with the marketing team and other company staff to complete projects as assigned.

Primary Duties

Collaborate with the marketing team and company leadership to understand the overall strategy and direction of project assignments, audience, and intended message for graphic design, social media, and photography projects.

Create original visual media, including graphics, social media content, and photographs, that effectively communicate the desired message in an engaging and brand-consistent manner.

Generate completed work as assigned within scheduled timelines, demonstrating a keen understanding of design, typography, layout, photo-retouching, and image manipulation across all media types.

Present finished creative products to stakeholders in a succinct and professional manner.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of Larry H. Miller Real Estate’s products, business culture, and competition.

Produce sample layouts for approval by marketing leadership, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing and branding strategy.

Prepare drafts of design work and provide samples to marketing and company leadership for review and feedback.

Revise projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback processes.

Prepare print orders and assembly instructions upon notification of final approval.

Maintain accurate records of billable project time as required.

Support and promote Larry H. Miller Real Estate’s mission statement, vision, and core values through visual media.

Assist with all other tasks and projects as directed by management.

Perform all other duties as assigned. Experience & Skills

3-5 years of experience in graphic design

Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, or related field

Mastery in Adobe Creative Suite and related graphic design tools and software

Proficient in print and web/electronic design

Basic knowledge of HTML as it relates to document and web design

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines

Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs in/around construction site, apartment homes, models, and properties

This position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions (to include but limited to, rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet), around hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, and other particulates

Must have the ability to read and comprehend large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 60 lbs. independently

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about office setting
