Job Summary

Assist clients and manage projects to deliver engineering consulting services. Manage all aspects of the project including internal and external resources, timeline, accounting, and budget.

Job Description

Plans and directs all aspects of project activities within the department. Ensures all services and projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. Utilizes best practice methods and provides expert technical guidance for client services. Incorporates components, materials, and tools that result in cost-effective and quality output. Reports to Engineering Services Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Deliver Engineering Consulting Services to include but not limited to; assess processes and workflows, optimize productivity, develop and track metrics to discover areas for improvement, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance assistance.

-Carefully document processes so they may be replicated and ensure that all processes comply with industry regulations.

-Audit other department and it's activities to ensure compliance

-Manage permits, review analytical data and provide feedback

-Assist customers with regulatory compliance

-Prepare and present regulation reviews and recommendations

-Serves as market business development engineering lead for the department

-Prepares and presents a weekly, monthly, and quarterly project plan and costs

-Prepares and delivers training and education to customers and staff.

-Respond to qualified leads and prepare quote and support (i.e., presentations, meetings)

-Contributes to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related program

Engineer shall have a minimum of six years of experience environmental and process engineering

Strong analytical and report writing

Exquisite interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Competence with managing internal and external resources
