Industrial / Remote Medics (EMR / PCP / ACP)

DXP / HSE Integrated provides high level certified medical personnel and equipment nationwide! We are committed to providing outstanding on-site medical care in the oil and gas, construction, and other industrial sectors!

We are looking for bright, skilled medics to be part of our team and have immediate, on-call, short-term and/or long term upcoming projects within Alberta!

What We Offer:

Flexibility – We have long-term and short-term projects, we also offer individuals the ability to take on small, local work.

Casual; on-call assignments as needed

Long and/or short-term project work

Fair Pay - We pay per employment standards, an hourly wage and over-time (8/44 rule in Alberta).

Responsibilities

Provide a quick response to medical emergencies in an industrial setting

Assess and attend to patient’s injuries; determine a course of treatment

Provide first-aid or support to injured workers

Effectively communicate status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency services

Clean and decontaminate vehicles (mobile treatment center) and/or clinic area and maintain areas in a state of operational/medical readiness

Ensure all reporting and communication requirements are adhered to regarding incidents, injuries, and treatment

Maintain confidential patient medical documentation and reports as per governing body requirements

Personal Characteristics

Highly skilled and well known for bringing order to chaos; especially when patients are scared, in pain or shock from an injury.

Caring yet take control type of personality. The ability to take a calm and logical approach to emergency situations.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Functional knowledge of computer operations, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Effectively organize and prioritize situations and activities ranging from urgent patient care issues to routine office and clinic duties

Reliable, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment

Requirements

Current (unrestricted) registration as an EMR/PCP/ACP/OFA3/AFA with the respective provincial College of Paramedics.

Valid Class 4 / Class 5 driver’s license – A current drivers abstract will be requested.

Current tickets: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, TDG, WHMIS, Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Must be local to the Grand Prairie area
