Integrations Architect - Kafka/ESB (PLM)

The SOA Architect/Lead will work as a team member of the Integration Architecture team. This team is responsible for architecting and implementing a service oriented architecture across the IT organization. This role will focus on the delivery and support of new and existing ESB and BPEL services and it will also provide the opportunity to work with Oracle SOA Suite technologies.

Responsibilities

Maintain, modify and enhance core SOA architecture

Design and developer XML schemas used within the enterprise

Refine and optimize existing SOA projects, including ESB and BPEL

Research and developer proof of concepts for new projects

Help lead in the definition and maintenance of best practices in the development of SOA components

Work independently in order to deliver customer service solutions for the application teams, from requirements and design through development, testing and production rollout

Communicate clearly and effectively within the SOA group and with the respective application teams

Provide innovative solutions and explore and learn new technologies Qualifications

BS in IT related field

Minimum 7+ years experience in SOA and/or java development

Strong background in XML, XSD, XSL

ESB and BPEL Experience, preferably Oracle SOA Suite 10g and/or SOA Suite 11g

Knowledge of SOA principles

Experience with industry-standard application servers, OAS or WLS preferred

Strong problem solving skills and desire to innovate new solutions for the SOA team

Great communication skills

Motivated to learn new technologies and processes

Ability to work with a team
