Sr. Piping Designer

Our client is currently seeking a Sr. Piping Designer.

Job Duties:

Work independently to prepare complex engineering drawings of mechanical, structural, and piping; and be able to markup and work from P&IDs.

Communicate with the project engineer to review and improve the engineer's design ideas.

Be able to route and/or reroute pipe design runs, prepare piping drawings and isometrics.

Prepare equipment, structural steel, and concrete 3D models and drawings.

Field Sketches. Requirements:

10+ years of experience with 3D modeling Industrial piping and mechanical designs, preferably using AutoCAD Plant-3D, CADWorx and/or Inventor

Must be able to read and understand existing plant drawings (equipment, structural steel, concrete, and site work)

Must be able to work on several projects at the same time

Pay Rate:

$45 60/hr, dependent on experience
