Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welding Instructor to join our team at our facility located in Conroe, TX, 77303. As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for training and instructing individuals in various welding techniques and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment and a passion for teaching others.Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive instruction on welding techniques including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc.

Teach students how to operate and maintain welding equipment such as welders and manual grinders.

Provide guidance on reading and interpreting blueprints for welding projects.

Demonstrate proper welding setups for production and ensure students understand safety protocols.

Incorporate ERP software and basic computer skills into the training curriculum.

Assist students in obtaining necessary certifications, such as ISO 9001 and ITAR registration.

Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively convey welding concepts and provide feedback to students.

Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the welding training program.Qualifications

3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.

Proficiency in operating and maintaining various welding equipment including robotic welders, laser welders, MIG welders, TIG welders, stick welders, and flux-cored arc welders.

Welding Certifications (CWI, etc.) and Education

Ability to read and interpret blueprints for welding projects.

Familiarity with ERP software and basic computer skills.

Experience with ISO 9001 certification and ITAR registration.

Strong welding setups for production knowledge and expertise.

Excellent communication skills to effectively teach and provide feedback to students.
