RTT Heating and Cooling, LLC is a family owned and operated business with over 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial heating and cooling. We are focused on providing Northeastern Ohio with energy savings, comfort and quality.

HVAC work is challenging, both in terms of the technical knowledge needed for the job and the difficulty of diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment. Problem-solving is a big part of the job, and employees need good communication skills so they can explain what repairs need to be made and why. HVAC Technicians also need a variety of highly technical skills and qualifications.

An HVAC Technician, or a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technician, installs and repairs various air quality systems. Their main duties include locating and diagnosing maintenance problems on equipment, conducting warranty services and quickly performing emergency repairs on certain equipment items.

Job Details:

New construction - residential projects

Installation of duct work in new construction homes, townhomes and apartments

Install/replacement of furnaces and air conditioners

Residential air conditioning and furnace replacements

Employee responsible for basic hand tools and small ladder

Full-time or part-time

Mechanical or trade experience preferred

Position can start at entry level with room to advance to lead installer

Ability to transition into hvac technician for service

EPA Certification preferred but not required immediately

Some examples of duties include:

• Removing old systems

• Installing new systems

• Performing routine maintenance

• Training junior team members

• Communicating with clients and customers

• Ordering and maintaining equipment

• Meeting local HVAC codes
