Role/ Department:
This role involves supporting one of our key strategic, and rapidly expanding relationship – Partners Group. Responsible for overall client service to Partners Group’s by facilitating efforts of the service delivery team, internal stakeholders, co-ordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue-resolution, and effectively communicating client concerns / needs to partners. The role also involves utilising knowledge of Global Fund Services products and services to provide Partners Group with information and suggestions to add value to the relationship.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
In conjunction with the Global Relationship Manager, the CSDM is responsible for managing this key client relationship
Plans and facilitates client meetings and calls including scheduling client service review meetings/calls and visits; preparation for and follow up of client meetings; responsible for the creation of and subsequent measurement of performance against Service Level Documents and due diligence visits / calls / questionnaires
Ensures follow up of day to day client queries and issue resolution including the co-ordination of any required changes
Cultivates strong working relationships with contacts within Partners Group
Responsible for managing client service review within each of the key product areas ie Fund Accounting, Custody, Transfer Agency, Middle Office and IMLG. For example liaise with Fund Accounting regarding issues with NAV production and accuracy, address financial reporting issues, ensure any fee queries are resolved in a timely manner, address calls / distributions issues, failed trades and ensure any breaches are recorded and dealt with in a timely manner
Develops complete understanding of Partners Group’s business objectives, goals and market challenges
Help educate the client on emerging issues, Northern Trust products and services, regulatory/tax changes, the general fund environment, advising the client of the impact on the client’s business and on Northern Trust services
Supports the Global Relationship Manager in the onboarding of new structures, restructures and liquidations
Co-ordinates presentations, brings in experts where necessary, ensures smooth delivery of new services and communicates emerging needs
Attends client Board meetings
Manages debtor profile, facilitates the timely issuance of accurate invoices
Skills/ Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial servicing in asset servicing
Client relationship experience and track record of managing key clients is essential
Knowledge of asset management usually acquired through related work experience in managing client relationships. Knowledge of general finance and portfolio management concepts.
Skills in negotiation, delegating, client relationship and sales are necessary to service the client relationship.
