Summary

EMH&T is currently looking for Entry Level Civil Engineers to join our team. You will work under the direction and mentorship of a seasoned Engineer or Project Manager, PE to provide innovative, creative and safe solutions through design support on private and/or public projects from conception to completion. You will create drawings utilizing AutoCAD and perform engineering calculations on assigned portions of multiple projects; begin to apply engineering education to practical design solutions; assist in plan production tasks, including base mapping, modeling, and detailing; prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, reports, and technical specifications; attend and participate in project meetings; coordinate, communicate and adhere to company and division processes, procedures, standards and the promotion of company culture and core values; and perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; and up to one year of work experience. Prior internship or co-op experience in civil, construction, or a related area is preferred. Exposure to an engineering consulting firm environment, preferred. Some exposure to AutoCAD or similar software to develop work plans and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, preferred.
