Diesel Mechanic / Technician – All Levels

A stable, family owned, and rapidly growing diesel truck and trailer repair shop has an opportunity for an experienced diesel mechanic/technician. We work on all makes and models and take pride in our work quality and rely on repeat customers. The shop has a fun friendly atmosphere where quality work is recognized and appreciated.

Mobile Mechanic/Technician Level I II and III

Detailers

Fulltime, no weekends, incentives, vacation time

Essential Functions

· Engine diagnostics and repair

· Able to read wiring diagrams

· Drivetrain diagnostics and general repair practices

· Welding and light fabrication a plus

· Electrical, wiring and component repair

· Control Arms and Shock repair and installation

· Performs repairs within the industry standard time

· Ability to perform all engine repairs and replacements

Essential Qualifications

· Entry Level to experienced mechanics/technicians working on diesel engines in a shop environment

· Experience in cleaning trucks, working with hand tools, performing tire services, and other general shop upkeep and cleaning highly preferred

· Experience in preventative maintenance, servicing of trucks and trailers, DOT Inspections on trucks and trailers, minor engine diagnostics, and emissions systems troubleshooting highly preferred

· ASE Certified is preferred

· Willing to adapt to new situations and challenges

· Must be able to read and follow manuals (parts lists, work instructions)

· Diagnostics experience is required

· Technical or advanced degree, certificate or diploma in diesel engines, electronics, and/or related systems or equivalent amount of experience

· High School Diploma or GED

· Successfully demonstrated welding skills in non-standard situations and on varying materials

· Control Arms and shock experience

· Vehicle Safety inspection experience
