Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the design and development of various construction projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, improving, and protecting our immediate environment. You will be involved in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the engineering industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed architectural plans, blueprints, and drawings for various construction projects using software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

2. Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings etc.) to plan and design projects.

3. Carry out technical and feasibility studies to help in decision making during project planning.

4. Oversee and manage all stages of project life cycles, ensuring compliance with design, project specifications, safety standards, and relevant codes.

5. Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.

6. Liaise with multi-disciplinary project teams, including project managers, contractors, and other professional staff.

7. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems or deficiencies during project execution.

8. Assess potential risks, materials, and costs to provide feasible project specifications.

9. Manage budget and project resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely completion.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the engineering industry.

3. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly desirable.

4. Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other related engineering applications.

5. Proven experience in structural engineering and structural design.

6. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software, as well as familiarity with construction and project management software.

7. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

8. Excellent communication and project management skills.

9. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.

10. Strong understanding of industry and regulatory standards and rules.

11. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
