Internal and Direct Hire Recruiter Intern

Summary: As an Internal and Direct Hire Recruiter Intern at Surge Staffing, you will embark on a journey to learn the intricacies of talent acquisition and recruitment strategies. This internship provides a hands-on experience in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for both internal positions and direct hire placements. Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.

Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for internal positions and direct hire placements.

Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

Support in drafting job descriptions and posting job openings on relevant platforms.

Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and priorities.

Assist in negotiating offers and facilitating the onboarding process for selected candidates.

Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and campus visits to attract top talent.

Additional Duties:

Provide administrative support to the recruitment team, including scheduling meetings and organizing candidate files.

Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Assist in creating and updating recruitment metrics and reports to track key performance indicators.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

At least a Junior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems.

Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for talent acquisition and recruitment.
