About North High Brewing:

North High Brewing serves craft beer made by the brewery that shares our name! We also serve a full menu of from scratch bites, cater private events and large parties, and host community events. Our first restaurant located in Historic Dublin, opened in 2020, while our Uptown Westerville location opened in the Fall of 2023.

Job Summary:

North High Brewing is looking for exceptional Bartenders to join our fast growing team! Youll be serving creatively crafted drinks and craft beers in our restaurant alongside a crew of amazing people.

As a North High Brewing Bartender, you are expected to help create exceptional experiences for our guests! You will be expected to provide fantastic service to the customers at the bar, take tables, work with the servers to provide drinks for the tables, create beverages in a timely fashion, manage your running side work, and resolve customer issues.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to our guests.

Educate guests about NHB beers, craft spirits, cocktails, wine and food.

Prepare the bar for service by doing the designated prep tasks.

Maintain a clean bar area and alert management to any issues with bar equipment.

Take orders from bar customers for food and beverages.

Take orders and maintain a section of tables when necessary.

Deliver all beverages in a timely fashion.

Wash and sanitize glassware.

Answer the phone and take orders when necessary.

Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner.

Follow other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor.Requirements:

Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are necessary.

Basic knowledge of beer offerings (flavors, ingredients, etc.) to answer questions from customers.

Ability to memorize ingredients in both the menu items as well as daily/weekly specials.

Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.

Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.

Ability to multitask efficiently.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrists. (Indoor & Outdoor)

Must be able to carry up to 30lbs.

Equipment, Machines and Software Used: This position requires the regular use of a tablet for the point of sale system (Toast), and use of draft beer and bag in box systems.Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers in a professional manner.

Excellent organization and coordination skills.

Previous serving experience preferred.
