Excel Pest Services is looking for Sales Representatives to join our growing team! Our company has celebrated 30 consecutive years of profitable growth. We provide effective, affordable and environmentally responsible services in Residential and Commercial pest control. Due to our continued growth and expansion, we currently have great opportunities to join our TEAM of professional Sales Representatives. No industry experience required. Our paid training program is geared towards your success.
Sales Representatives are required to travel to various locations and provide consultative information to residential and commercial properties with the primary goal of selling Excel’s Services.
Essential functions of the job:
Receive office leads in your service territory, and sell appropriate Pest, Termite, Mosquito, and/or Wildlife services
Produce half of a service route. Approximately (5) stops per day
In addition to the leads provided to you, you will be required to creatively sell in your territory
Properly inspect homeowners' homes to provide to each prospect a professional, individualized analysis and treatment recommendation, including extra services
Perform initial pest services and propose additional services
Accurately complete all required paperwork. Leave behind approved Excel Pest Services sales and marketing literature
Make follow-up phone calls on a daily basis
Sales Technicians must be able to consistently hit or exceed their sales goals. Consistency in performance is important, and training will be provided to help you reach and exceed your goals.Requirements:
Sales Representative Qualifications:
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with positive attitudes and the following qualifications:
High School Diploma (or GED) required, College preferred
Valid Clean Driver’s License
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift 15 pounds, and stand or walk for 8-10 hours/day while pushing/carrying measuring equipment and some ladder usage
Advanced problem solving, decision-making, and time management skills a must
Previous industry experience not required but is a plus
Prior sales experience required with a history of demonstrated self-initiated sales results.
