Bilingual Immigration Attorney

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced bilingual Immigration Attorney to join our supportive legal team in Woodbridge, Virginia, on a full-time basis.

Qualifications:

A minimum of one year of experience in immigration law;

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school;

Active Bar License in good standing from any US state (MD Bar highly desired);

Bilingual in English and Spanish, with proficiency in additional languages being a strong advantage;

Knowledge of immigration law and immigration court procedures;

Legal experience in immigration bond hearings, removal defense, and business immigration (L, H, B, E visas, I-140s, PERMs, etc.);

Positive, welcoming, and professional demeanor;

Willingness to travel to detention centers housing immigration detainees to meet with clients if necessary.

Responsibilities:

As an Immigration Attorney at our firm, you will:

Manage multiple cases and provide legal representation to immigrants facing removal proceedings before the Immigration Court;

Meet with clients, advise them on eligibility for relief under immigration laws, and prepare applications for filing with USCIS and Immigration Court;

Represent clients before various government agencies;

Be open to working in any other area of law that the office deems necessary.
