Summary of Responsibilities

Liberty Tire Recycling is the premier provider of tire recycling services in the United States. Our Salt Lake City, Utah facility is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team! The primary purpose of the position is to direct and lead the facilities production team to meet and/or exceed company expectations for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Housekeeping. This includes training employees, developing effective teams, maintaining cleanliness and organizations of the facility, light corrective maintenance, and ensuring execution of daily productions plans. This position is a critical part of the facility's operations team and reports to the General Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Provide shift leadership, performance assessments, cross-training, adherence to company policy, and in compliance with the company Handbook with the support of the Supervisors.

Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, implementing change.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Education/Skills/Experience

Supervises day to day operations of production facility

Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to establish and sustain effective relationships with peers, direct reports, and co-workers.
